Our club Eildon Park is based in Rowville and competes in the Ferntree Gully and District Cricket Association, we are recognized as having the potential to be a major force in local cricket for many years to come. This season we fielded 6 senior teams, 2 veteran teams, 17 junior teams (5 non competitive) and had in excess of 150 In2cricket participants. This wealth of players reportedly makes us one of the largest cricket clubs in Australia! Our 1st X1 were runners up last season (5th this season) and this season our 2nds, 3rds (Premiers), 4ths, 5ths (Premiers) and 4 junior teams (3 Premiers) all competed in their respective grand finals. No matter how you look at it, with the depth of talent and youth we have, our future is definitely very promising. Off the field we are financially stable, we have a hard working committee, our social atmosphere is welcoming and our practice facilities (4 nets) and playing conditions (2 ovals side by side) are the envy of most other clubs. Ideally you are well organized and are an experienced coach (playing or non playing), with very good communication skills, especially with younger people as our playing list is full of enthusiastic youthful players. Obviously the number of players that you will have under your wing as our coach will be many, but you will have a great support network as our club has 4 Level 2 coaches and numerous Level 1 coaches. Most coach in the junior section but assist in the senior section when necessary. Remuneration is negotiable for the right applicant. All applications will be treated with confidence.
